Clients – Please read these Terms and Conditions prior to signing the booking form

All clients must agree to the Terms Conditions of boarding their animals with Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel as outlines as follows;

Standard General Conditions;

  • I understand that while every care will be given to my animal(s), they are boarded entirely at my own risk.
  • I consent to my animal(s) being exercised outside my animal(s) own kennel in exercise areas within the Pet Hotel.
  • I consent to my animal(s) associating with other animal(s) staying at the Pet Hotel unless other wise stated.
  • I consent and indemnify Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel against any suit or claim arising from any loss or injury to my animal(s) whilst boarding at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  • I acknowledge that I have read and understood and that I am bound by the ‘conditions of boarding’ stated as follows;

Conditions of Boarding

  1. The client _____________________________ [clients name] guarantees that their animal(s) ­­­­­­­­­________________________ [pets name(s)] has up to date and current vaccinations (Dogs C5, Cats F3) covering the animal’s entire planned stay at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  2. All boarding prices / fees are charged on a calendar day basis and the full planned stay period booked will be charged for and paid in full prior to boarding. Note: no refunds or credit will be due for early holiday returns.
  3. If the __________________ [pets name] has fleas or is dirty on arrival a bath will be given and a $50 charge will be levied without notice.
  4. All medications must be in original packaging accompanied by the instructional label by the issuing Vet.
  5. All prices / fees are subject to change without notice.
  6. During the Christmas, New Year and Easter periods: cancellations within 4 business days of the expected drop of time, are required to pay 50% of the boarding fee.
  7. Normal rates for dogs and cats are based on individual accommodation.
  8. The client and their animal(s) agree to an interview prior to boarding at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  9. The client ________________________ [clients name] agrees to pay all costs and charges not later than the day of arrival and admittance of animal(s) to Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel and also agrees to pay any additional charges incurred by my animal(s) must be paid when I collect my animal(s) from Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel. This includes any special services requested and all veterinarian costs for their animal(s) during the time the said animal(s) _____________________________ [pets name(s)] stay at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel. Additional charges must be paid for prior to the animal(s) leaving Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  10. The animal(s) __________________________ [pets name(s)] must be dropped off and picked up within the advertised operating hours of Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel. Agreed costs will be charged for any out of hours drop off or pickup to the client.
  11. The client ________________________________ [clients name] agrees to arrive on time for their appointment for interview, drop off or collect their animal(s) The client agrees to telephone Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel on 0434 339 329 prior to the appointment time to advise if they are going to be early or 15 minutes later than the planned appointment time.
  12. Under no circumstances will Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel, or any of its employees or agents be held responsible for any items lost, destroyed or forgotten on the premises such as toys, bedding, collars, bells etc
  13. Under no circumstances will Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel or any of its employees or agents be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, Cat Flu, injury, sickness, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, that may occur to any animal staying at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  14. Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel far exceeds the standard of accommodation required by regulations there is always an absolutely minimal risk that an animal pet may escape. The client indemnifies Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel if the animal escapes from the premises and Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel or any of its employees or agents can not be held responsible or liable for any loss, death or damage caused of any kind whatsoever.
  15. If all charges due as calculated by Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel are not paid, Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel has the right to offer the animal(s) for sale. If the sale does not secure a price adequate to cover the cost of the debt, the client is liable to Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel for the difference. Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel may take this course of action if not advised of a pickup / collection date within three weeks of the advised dates.
  16. The client _______________________ [clients name] agrees that by signing these conditions and leaving the animal(s) with Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel, the client certifies to the accuracy of all information given about the animal(s).
  17. The client _______________________ [clients name] agrees that by signing these conditions and thus forming a contract, that this contract will form a lien over the animal(s) in favour of Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel. This lien will exist for so long as monies are owing pursuant to this contract.
  18. The client _______________________ [clients name] agrees to give permission to Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel to allow personal information regarding the client ______________________ [clients name] and animal(s) __________________ [pets name(s)] to be given to or received from a duly licenced veterinarian.
  19. The client _______________________ [clients name] agrees to be solely responsible for the behaviour of their animal(s) _______________________ [pets name(s)] while their animal(s) are in the care of Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel.
  20. The client _______________________ [clients name] acknowledges that if any or all of their animal(s) _______________________ [pets name(s)] are on arrival found to be dirty, has fleas or other hygienic or medical condition, then Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel will make reasonable effort to contact the client. And if no contact van be made then Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel will rectify the hygienic or medical issues and the charges will apply which the client will be responsible for and required to pay.
  21. Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel has the right to refuse admission of any animal and no reason given.

Veterinary Treatment

Should the animal(s) require vet consultation during their stay at Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel, we will try to contact on the contact numbers that the client has provided. It is the responsibility of the client to provide the correct contact details.

Should Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel be unable to contact the client, then Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel will make decisions in the best interests of the animal(s), acting within the terms of the boarding contract where possible.

All vet charges will be paid by the client as per the boarding contract conditions of boarding

Should your animal(s) be taken to a vet of our choice (unless otherwise advised on the conditions of boarding contract), a fee will be charged for transport and for the time spent at the vets and in providing ongoing medical treatment of the animal(s). After hours / emergency or public holidays will incur a surcharge.

For vet consultancy it is at the discretion of Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel to call the vet to the pet hotel rather than travel to the veterinarians practice location. Vet travel is to be paid for by the client. All charges to be paid prior to collection of the animal(s).

Vaccinations

All animals must be fully vaccinated as a condition of entry to Dunkeld Park Pet Hotel

Dogs must have a current C5 vaccination, which is dated to last beyond the boarding end date.

Cats must have a current F3 vaccination, which is dated to last beyond the boarding end date.

Copies of the vaccination certificates must be provided on or prior to arrival to be kept on the record of the animal(s) booking forms. We accept photographic evidence.

Ideally email a scan copy prior to arrival.

Where requested clients drivers license must also be sighted but will not be kept as a scan record.

All vaccinations must be completed at least two weeks prior to boarding.
